I respec'd in order to get shadowstep. I know combat is best for leveling blah blah, but to be honest, I have no problems killing multiple mobs. I take out 3-4 easy; they just can't hit me. Anyway, back to my entry, the past few times people have attempted to gank me my reflex for "live on to fight another day" kicked in, and I ran. However, since I got shadowstep, I decided that Raelan would no longer flee from a battle unless my opponent was 67-70 (however, I did manage to stunlock a recently 70'd warlock to death).
A dwarven warrior (63) tried to kill me when I was leveling in Zangarmarsh yesterday. He charged at me after I had finished off a mob, after I had just sat down, after I had just started eating *sigh*. So, I built up combo points and KS'd him, and then continued to Hemo his ass. I let loose a 5 pt rupture, and then timed a gouge so that I could get some space and kite him. When the rupture ran out, I blinded him and bandaged right next to him (I'm an ass I know), and to show the hopelessness of his situation, I did a /mourn as I finished bandaging and restealthed. I despise people who try to gank me...so if I know I'm going to win...I try make them understand the mistake that they made. :)
After he res'd, he mounted up and tried to run. I sapped him and watched a pat aggro him. Then, I helped out the pat by bringing him down to about 50%, vanished...but he managed to not die and slip away (I should have finished him, I know).
He came back later with another warrior (62) and attempted to kill me again. However, this time I was on an escort quest and had no reason to engage them. I distracted one, sapped the other, and then stealth+sprint to victory...watching them dismount to try and find me was hilarious. They ran around in circles spamming demoralizing shout and such as, what seemed to be, an escortless npc walked by. N00bs.

New name, new (same) game
I changed the name of my rogue to Raelan.
Hopefully this new name will bring me faster leveling? No? Am I asking/hoping for too much?

Still 61...
So my rogue is still 61...but I finally got some instance runs in! I think I have about 1/3 left before I hit 62...I really don't understand how my druid friend leveled so quickly to 63. Oh well, I heard he has a guide, maybe that's it...yes..that's it. Even with a guide though, I never would have thought that the efficiency would increase by this much...it's kind of ridiculous actually...unless my sense of time is off completely, and there really isn't that much of a difference. At any rate, doing instances yesterday was pretty badass. I can solo some of the mobs :). I love having so much CC...as a warrior, I've always been lacking in the crowd control department, and now that I have lots of it, I love it. Sap, blind, gouge, kick, arcane torrent (tyvm BE racial!), cheap shot, kidney shot, vanish, cheap shot 2, kidney shot 2...+ preparation, and it all starts over. Amazing, isn't it?
So, I'm thinking of renaming my rogue Raelan. I like it, do you like it? I like it.
Also, I must say that I am spoiled. I say this because last night, in my last BF run, I was grouped with a bunch of morons. Even though we finished it and only completely wiped once, these guys weren't very good. I sometimes forget the quality of players that my friends are. I sometimes forget that there are people out there that aren't good at WoW. And I sometimes forget that my friends are awesome. So, to all my friends in the WoW world, thank you for being you. :)

You know what really grinds my gears...
I'm trying to get into Hellfire Ramps because instance grinding will help speed up my leveling process, and you know I see? 5 rogues LFG...wtf?! I know that there are more dpsers than there are tanks/healers but still...I mean, come on! 5 god damn rogues all looking for the same instance? Shit man...unfortunately, I was unable to get a group for Ramps...so it took me a shit load of time to get to 61...
LFG RAMPS!

Wiggle...?
So I'm debating on whether or not I want to change my name. What do you think? Should I keep Wigglemon? or should I change it? I have the money, so that's not an issue, and I know that I would have to change my blog, but that's not a real problem neither...I just don't know if I want to change. I like the name; I just don't want to feel like I'm copying my friend. I was always about making real names in the past (Adynn and Nakah), and I think that is finally catching up to me. Oh well, I'll think about it.

Amazing trick shot
The link provided is an amazing trick shot done by Norm Duke. I don't understand...it blows my mind!!!!!

But, will that last?

Life
After this past weekend I have come to realize the impossibility of playing WoW in the summer. My goal this weekend was to hit 60 ( I was 55 ), however I failed to reach my goal. Saturday I was able to maintain my progress, but Sunday is when everything kind of went south. Saturday I hit 58, and after Sunday, I am still 58. Sunday I went bowling from 10-130, then I ate lunch and took a nap, and then I got a couple calls to hang out (so I did) and when I finally got home it was 10. I played for about 10-1145 and then I started getting ganked out the ass. I was super frustrated and upset, but before I threw my computer out of the window, I took two deep breaths and shut it down.
Even though I didn't reach my goal, I'm still very happy with my weekend. Spending time with friends and family really beats the hell out of WoW (lolz so sry). I really do pitty those people who spend countless hours each day just sitting in front of the computer playing this game. I wonder whether or not they truly have friends, or if they just make themselves believe they do to feel better. I know that when school starts, I tend to have more time to play because I don't usually go out during the week. It seems like, at least for me, that I am much much busier during the summer than I am during the school year. I have work, my gf, my friends, bowling, basketball, football, and then WoW. When I get home from work, I usually receive two or three calls to go hang out. Sure I would love to play more, but RL social interaction > WoW. What is nice, though, is when your friends also play WoW. So, whenever I go to a certain friend's house, I try to get some play time in.
When school starts, I will be playing much more than I am now. I'm actually kind of looking forward to it, because I do miss the game, and I still want to hit 70 before I die. I'm going to play as much as I can, but, in the mean time, my life has put WoW in queue.

PvPness
I ventured out into the 3v3 world last night, and I have to say, it was pretty fun. Although we didn't do well (9 wins 13 losses), it was a good experience. Our team make up was resto druid, shadowstep rogue, ms warrior (me). And I'm going chalk up our poor play to my inexperience in 3s and the fact that our gear was "terribad". Our resto druid was using a mixture of s1/s2 feral gear + vindicator's (still feral), and the rogue could have been 2-shot by his hunter main. My gear was decent...I guess, I have Stormherald and 3 blues + 1 green, everything else is purple (s1/s3 and vindicator's). Anyway, it was definitely an interesting experience.
We started off pretty bad, but I think we ended up evening out our last few games. We found that the rogue and I could not be on the same target because our healer would just get eaten alive. So, what we ended up doing was having me on one of the dpsers (lowest armored) and having the rogue lock down and pressure their healer. Fen, our resto druid, would CC the other player (usually a warrior but really it didn't matter), and we would go from there. Once we had that set up going, I would say we broke even.
Things I need to work on:
- saving rage for bursting
- timing my intimidating shout w/ other CC
- protecting my healer when he is trying to run away
- not using sunder armor as much (2s is different than 3s unfortunately)
(will think about more)
On another note, WIGGLEMON INSTANT LVL 70 PLZ K THX!

55 and counting...almost the Outlands ><
--------------------------------
I wonder how this opener would work against a mage...
Premed => CS => Expose Armor => vanish => prep => premed => garrote => hemo => KS
I realize that at one point during that time the mage will blink...so that's why I was saving the KS towards the end to take advantage of the CD. Also, if I had to, I could throw in a Shadowstep to close the distance if the mage managed to get away. Or, I could even use CoS so I can resist some of his shit. Or, I could switch out Expose Armor with Rupture. Anyway, just a thought.
I could also do the:
premed => garrote => rupture (w/o breaking sap) => run away and restealth
That would do a nice bit of damage and also allow me to get away, restealth and reopen with all my cooldowns minus 1.
As you can see, I really want to hit 70 lol...I really want to start pvping.

Ttttteam Make-up
I never realized how much team make-up effects arena pvp. I don't know why I never thought about it...but I guess I wanted to believe that skill can offset team make up (at least in the lower bracket). However, I seem to lack one of the key ingredients for that forumla, skill. I suppose I'm not good enough to make up for the shitty-ness of paly/war make-up now. I suppose that I definitely was not good enough to compete in a feral druid/ms warrior combo...which is why I've been leveling my rogue. I suppose that I will truly find my answer if I get my rogue to 70 beore WotLK and do mage/rogue arena with my friend. However, there is something in the near future that could test my abilities.
My feral druid friend has sold his soul and switched to resto. He isn't very well geared (for resto, that is) but that's okay. I figure if I can do relatively well with druid/war combo, then I won't have to end my life because of my suckiness.
Oh, and that's if he will do arenas with me :D I <3.
WOW I HATE YOU BLOG FOR DELETING THE SECOND HALF OF MY POST AFTER I POSTED IT AND YOU GAVE ME AN ERROR AND DIDNT LET ME RETRIEVE MY POST BUT INSTEAD JUST DELETED SHIT I HATE YOU!

Distract FTW
Okay, so, I managed to do something that I'm assuming very few rogues have ever done, since everyone says "you can't do it" or "if you ever consider it you're a noob". Well, call me a noob, but I managed to pull it off. So, what am I talking about?
Distraction
I was in an AB the other day, and as I was cleaning up 2 alliance bitches, I saw a frost mage riding towards me. I was at about 20% hp, so I thought to myself...Fuck, this sucks (I was at 0 deaths). So, I finished up the kill and proceeded to eat + stealth for a little time hoping to gain a little hp back. The mage ran towards my general direction, spamming AE of course, and when he got too close, I got up and started moving. Well, I opened up on him with cheap shot, and he blinked, so I sprinted and KS him...yada yada yada, and then I got frozen in place. He walked just out of my melee range (walked because he had crippling poison on) and then frost nova'd me to make sure that I would stay put. Now, here's the good part. He turned around (after walking a little bit more) and began casting frostbolt. Since I was on cooldown, I had to act quickly so I decided to try something "new"...I hit distract and made his bitch ass turn around, canceling his cast. I realize that that was probably not the smartest thing to do...since I could have stealthed, but he would have known where I was..and well I was on cooldown, okay? Anyway, that's beside the point. The point is, the mage dropped combat in the few seconds between the frost nova and the frost bolt. So, to all you non-believers, this shit does work...it just takes great reaction and timing...and I guess a little luck. BUT, I will agree that it is probably not something you want to rely on.
Oh, and I killed the mage...in case you were wondering...poor alliance...poor mage :( . 3 down for the Wiggle monster!!! ...fucking extreme.
- so I made the font smaller, do you like it? I like it...

Imp Expose Armerrrr?
*while I am leveling a Horde rogue atm, I have a 70 allie rogue (for those of you who will try to discredit me based on time of play)*
I have been doing some research on talent builds for rogues, and I think I have an idea of my what my final build will be. I know the cookie cutter build for everyone right now is either combat or mutilate, but I enjoy the benefits of subtlety. First of all, I don't like how combat plays, so I prefer to stay away from it. Secondly, mutilate is fun, but I truly enjoy the mobility of a subtlety rogue. I don't know why people hate on subt so much nowadays, because I still think it's a go-to build. Mutilate allows for the most dps output (with envenom and posions and all), but did I mention that I like the mobility of subt? The combat tree carries Imp Sprint which allows for the complete removal of movement impairing effects (which is cool) but I don't believe its a MUST HAVE talent.
Anyway, the reason for this entry is to talk about Expose Armor. 2 pts in this talent allows for a 50% increase in armor reduction. Sunder armor, fully stacked, reduces armor by 2600 and, from what I've read and experienced, is a must-use ability for warriors in arenas. Expose armor (without the talent) reduces armor by 2050, but with the talent, it reduces armor by 3075. In full season 3, a priest has ~2722 armor, a mage has ~3170, and a lock has ~2615. With an understanding of class and gear, we can rip through the opposition very quickly. However, there is no reason to always put the full 5 pts in for an Expose Armor with the talent. Imp EA will allow rogues to reduce more armor for less CP which translates into less time. With less time and energy spent applying combo points, I can use what I've saved to burst some more. When the clothies are down to 0, or close to 0 armor, dps will increase noticeably.

**Ranging from 12% (bear form druid) to 27% (clothie) Imp EA can increase a rogue's dps output dramatically. Also, the difference in dps increase between using EA and Imp EA is ~9% for clothies and rogues, 7% for hunters, 5% for shammies with a shield, 4.3% for plate + shield, and 4% for bear form druids which shows that the jump in DPS from EA to Imp EA is visibly noticeable.
Even though we all have our own styles of play, Imp EA should be taken seriously when spec'ing for arenas. Arena matches are lasting longer and longer and a way to stay in the game is EA. It allows for steady dps and does not sacrifice burst dps. Rogues can potentially be the most devastating class, but we must utilize all of our abilities to do so.

Arenas and pvp, etc.
Last night I did arenas with my paly partner, and it was excruciating. I don't know what the deal is but we went 4-7 (or 3-7 don't remember if we got one more game in). It was fucking stupid...we got matched with people in full s3 (or full s3 - shoulders). And then there was a team with a resto shammy in full s3 and a war in s3 - shoulders that wrecked us. The other players seem to just obliterate my paly. I don't know why...I thought paly's had amazing survival skills...but now that I think about it, this makes sense. This makes sense because I have an easier time killing palys than I do any other healing class (except priests cuz they so squishy!!!). I hate resto shammys and resto druids...my paly friend read on a forum that palys don't really do well in 2v2, and I also heard that paly/war doesn't do too well anymore. Even still, I know that we shouldn't have THIS MUCH trouble. I don't think we're bad players...I just don't know what the problem is. It is super frustrating, and it makes me want to just stop playing my war.
On another note, my rogue is coming along quite nicely. Wigglemon is level 48 (with rested past 49) and is a shit ton of fun. I have been doing AB to get marks so I can get an epic raptor at 60, and I love it. I'm not twinked, my spec is hybrid for pvp and leveling, and I still manage to be top of the dps charts. And it's not like I'm grouped with scrubs neither. I topped the chart in a bg with 4 twink rogues, 3 twink shammys, and 2 twink wars. I think there was a twink lock but I'm not sure. It's fucking awesome. So far only people who beat me easily are locks (just wait till I hit 70) and hunters. This gives me hope because I manage to defend a flag from 3 allies by utilizing the CC that I have and killing the sinlged out player. I love it. I love sap. I love blind. I love evasion. I love gouge. I love distract. I love vanish. And I LOVE preparation.
Anyways, I'm thinkin that I might just take a break from my war because I'm super frustrated. I can't wait till my rogue hits 70 (hopefully before WotLK) so I can do arenas with my frost mage friend. Oh well, now that my compy is fixed playing is much less stressful. I don't feel like killing myself every time that I log into WoW. It's amazing.

My last 2...
AB games have been disastrous...they have been so bad that I had to leave midway because I couldn't stand the suck. Horde are supposed to win! wtf man, wtf! *sigh* I need 22 more AB marks for my epic mount (no stupid epic chocobo for me, I want the raptor) but it seems like these 22 marks can either come extremely quickly, or slowly 1 at a time.
frustration frustration frustration
So, the question is: should I just level? or do I continue to farm marks? OH shit, I need to get my mining up too...god damnit.

PwR LvL 70 k Thx Bai!
so no one is in the office again...it's quite disturbing how quiet this building can be...it's really, really weird. But I can't complain because I just chill/do some work/watch videos. I love having a nice computer at my disposal bahahahaha.
Anyway, I've been watching a lot of mage/rogue pvp videos, and they really make me want to get my rogue to 70...like, get there instantly. Unfortunately for me, I'm only level 45. A friend of mine has a 70 mage and the idea was to get my rogue to 70, and we'd do arenas with the mage/rogue combo. At this rate I don't know how much arena-ing we'll be doing. I know WotLK is still in the alpha, but I still gotta get 70 AND get some gear b4 I try doing arenas. I wish Wigglemon would already be 70 >.<.

Warrior HELP!
I was looking for some help with pvping on my war today...and all I find is -- PAY $30 AND YOU COULD BE BEAST! -- or -- $55 AND OBLITERATE EVERYONE!!
what happened to the people that wrote out shit just cuz they wanted to do it? I see rogue and mage guides..i'm sorry, i mean FREE mage and rogue guides all over the internet, but when it comes to warriors I have to shell out cash. The only pvp help site that I could find was made by Murth, a prot pvper. He apparantly gets into the upper 1900 while being prot which is funny as shit, but that does not help me at all when it comes to arms. Oh, and another thing, the "FREE" guides that I do find seem to be written for someone who has never ever touched an MMO before. It's frustrating because I know what "MS" means...I know what "hamstring" does...and I know wtf "zerker stance" is...jesus I just want some fucking help! Anything other than "hamstring more ftw". <-- nice. Epic Fail.
-------------
On another note, I'm at work, and no one is in the office. Slack off central! j/k I finished up all the work that I was given so I'm technically not slacking off. Anyways, I played my friend last night in Brawl. He said he was undefeated amongst his group of friends (which are my friends too, i just don't hang out with them that much), and I wanted to put that to the test. I was interested because I'm always looking for new people to brawl with. I love my regular brawlers, but new people are always refreshing. Anyhoo, we played the first game, Marth (me) vs. Fox (him) *with items* and my friend won with 2 lives to spare. I told him that "real skill" = no items haha so we changed it up.
The second game (Marth vs. Fox again) was much much closer. I ended up winning with 1 life...but I should have had 2. I wanted to finish him off when he was trying to get back onto the ledge, and since i forgot to change my profile, tap jump owned me. I didnt have my 2nd jump and i fell to my death. He died too, but it was an epic fail on my part because our lives went to 1-1.
3rd game wasn't even close. It was Lucario(me) vs. Kirby(him) and i 3-stocked him *5-total*. He said that he hadn't played kirby in awhile, and I could see the rusty-ness. His timing was off, and I capitalized on almost every mistake.
He has potential to be a good brawl player, he just needs to settle himself down. He gets a little frantic (i think its cuz he uses the wii-mote and nunchuck) and loses control. Honestly, I have more respect for his Fox playing than his Kirby playing -- but that may be cuz he hadnt played in awhile. Also, he doesn't really know much about the other characters and knowing the other move-sets is extremely crucial.

So...
So after reading my friends blog for the past year (Grumbledon) I decided that I, too, shall make a blog. Yes I gave in, and yes this will be mostly about gaming...but I figure that this should be fun. I don't expect many people to read it...except for the people that actually know that I have this, and I like that. Frankly, xanga wasn't cuttin for me...and since I haven't updated my xangur in like 4 years....yeah a change was definitely needed.
Anyways, more to come...I'm at work right now slacking off.
I'm really excited -- I finally fixed my computer! No more artifacts and shit flying around my screen. No more spikes coming through my head and connecting to the mountains! The AH in SW is now fixed in the right place (before the front part of it stood out so my war would walk through it...only to discover that the AH was just a few steps away. The intake on my ATI Radeon X1900 XT was covered by a layer of dust (about 3mm thick) which prevented the heatsink from properly cooling my vid card. Luckily, my vid card was able to shut itself off in the past (which was very annoying esp when trying to do arenas) but prevented any serious damage happening to the card. I still have to keep the case open and have an external fan cooling my system cuz its too fucking hot in my room and the stock fan/heatsink suck ass. I'm thinking about getting a new heat sink, an accelero s1 rev2 i think, and replacing the stock one. It's only $25 dollars, and it will help me a lot with performance.
*NOTE TO SELF*: GET 70!!!!!
